cx twinning club will be 20 years old in 2009

they are holding a bigger rally than normal and want to encourage visitor from all the european clubs

It will be in the Alsace region of france ( nancy / strasbourg etc) and the dates are fixed for 30/31 may 1st June

This is do-able same day from ports north, accomodation will be either camping, b&b or a bunk in a mobil home- to suit all budgets

being on the german border of the black forest region, it may also interest those who want to do a different area tour of germany than vechta

Lijkt een 2de leuk Frans treffen voor 2009 te worden. Kan de site beheerder deze in de reisafdeling vermelden?

Lijkt me helemaal super. Ik ben dol op Frankrijk maar ben nog nooit op een Frans treffen geweest. Ik zal Frans (hoe toevallig...) inseinen zodat het in de agenda wordt gezet.

exact dates have not been set , as they are waiting on response of interest
The valley of the Kings is basically the Loire Valley, between Orleans and Tours ( loads of chateaux of the old royalty!!!) and its environs with a ride out of about 200 kms and free time to visit the places of interest as per individual ( or small groups) choice

Once details are better known, I will post on here, or Fred can update

Orleans is an easy ride from most ports
