Hi all,

I´ve been appointed organizer of the 2006 early summer meet of CX & GL 500 Owners Club Sweden, May 26 - 28.

The meet will be held in the southernmost part of Sweden, Skåne (Scania), the region in which I´m living, not more than 100 km from the Denmark - Sweden bridge. I have three or four alternative places to choose from, depending on number of participants and their accomodation preferences.

For this meet, unlike before, invitations will be sent out to fellow CX Clubs in Denmark, Germany, Netherlands and UK. I have no idea of how many CX-ers that might be interested.

If there´ll be only Swedes (normally 20 - 30 persons) I already know which place to book, but it would be fully booked already with 33 guests indoors. Our meets are always with accomodation indoors. Some of the sites to choose between also allow a few tents. There is one place with over 110 beds, but then meals could be a problem, if we are so many. Also virtually no camping there and we´ll have to consider other guests at the same time.

So, please, if anyone is interested, just a wee note, so I know from where to start thinking.

It's a pity Sture, I'm not able to come next year. It will be anyhow quite a CX-meetingless year for me because I have other plans. Same place in 2007, and I'll join your meeting for sure.

Its a chame that my enlich is verry poor. But i wil try. What is the date en exact lokation in zweden wwhere we can meet you. If you have more information, pleasen sent is derictly toe me en y whil put in ouwer clubpapier or new bullutin.

Hi again,

I´m working on it, so it´s not really decided where we´ll be. As said, I have three of four places to choose between, and I must decide pretty soon, as there should be a first note in our club magazine, to be printed in a couple of weeks. I´ve been out to check all alternatives and they are all great. Fine nature and good biking roads for a short spin together on Saturday.

Therefore I´m trying to get an idea of how many people that might be interested. I´ll book according to the response I get.

For me it also depends on my money situation as well.
Besides that the cx I have at the moment is not in a really good condition.
But the possibillity to go to Sweden?
I would not miss it!

You're gauging interest, right? I really cant't say if I'm coming, but if I do, I don't mind camping. It would be a shame if you made reservations for a lot of indoor beds with (in the end) just a few foreigners attending. We fellows (and galls) abroad are quite used te camping, so just arrange a bit of grass and we'll be ok. To say the least, our indoor facilities at SJK were everything but overcrowded...
